My latest scheme
I realize it's been a while since I talked about The Fred Lowe Financial Plan.
Well, to be honest, that idea didn't do too hot. Because, in spite of my best efforts, these stinkin' creditors remain absolutely unwilling to ignore my debts - thus forcing me to pay them and prevent a steady climb in my finances.
Drat.
However, last week I came up with another idea.
And at this risk of sounding boastful, this idea - I dare say - is BRILLIANT!
What does it entail exactly?
I'm glad you asked...
Follow up:
Silently saving money
You see, last week I misplaced my cell phone charger and hence was unable to charge it. But rather than going out and buying another one, I decided to go with a simpler strategy (and I excel at simplicity) and just keep it turned off - thus preventing it from running out of juice.
Not only did this keep me from having to buy another phone charger, but it also saved me from having to go through the nightmarish experience of having to talk to someone on the phone.
Wow. Wowie, wow, wow, wow.
You know, this whole idea of saving money by being antisocial just floors me.
Now I know what you're thinking: "Fred, eventually you're gonna have to charge your cell phone - and eventually you're gonna have to act like a normal human being and talk to people."
Not necessarily, homeys and homettes.
As long as I turn it on occasionally to check messages, I can then find alternative ways of contacting peeps (such as texting or e-mail). And by leaving the phone off, it ensures I'll never go over my alloted minutes and avoid additional fees.
All I need to do now is get the rest of peep nation to follow my lead and we'll all be talking less, writing more, and, most importantly, saving money.
Ah yes, The Antisocial Financial Plan. It's guaranteed to save you time and money, or my name isn't Fred Lowe.
For questions or concerns, feel free to write or text me. Just don't text too often, I don't want to go over my texting minutes.
Which would kinda defeat the point here, huh?
Saving money as only I can,
Antisocial Fred
